What Is CFS Community?

CFS Community is a peer-to-peer trading platform built by collectors, for collectors. Our focus is high-end resin statues and garage kits (GK) — the kind of pieces worth protecting.

We exist to provide structured, evidence-based trading with a reputation system that compounds over time. CFS is not a payment processor. We do not handle, hold, or transfer funds under any circumstances. Every transaction is between buyer and seller directly. CFS provides the trust infrastructure — accountability, transparency, and scam protection — but you are responsible for your own deals.

Payment Rules

  1. PayPal Goods & Services (G&S) is the only accepted payment method. Never use Friends & Family (F&F). Any member who solicits or pressures others into using F&F faces immediate suspension.
  2. Never send payments outside of agreed-upon platforms. If a deal is arranged on CFS, the payment discussion stays on CFS.
  3. Currency: USD is preferred. Other currencies are permitted by mutual agreement between buyer and seller.
  4. CFS does not handle, hold, or transfer funds — not as escrow, not as intermediary, not under any circumstances.

If someone claims to represent CFS and asks you to send money, that is a scam. Report it immediately.

Listing Conduct

All listings — WTS and WTB — must meet the following standards:

  • Clear, honest photos. Sellers must provide multiple photos showing the actual item. At least one photo should include a timestamped verification (handwritten username and date visible in frame).
  • Accurate condition descriptions. Disclose all repairs, missing parts, box damage, and known defects. Misleading condition claims are a violation.
  • Mandatory pricing. List your real asking price. No reserve pricing tricks, no “DM for price,” no auction-style games.
  • Honor your commitments. Once a deal is agreed upon on-platform, backing out without legitimate cause may result in a warning or further action.
  • No duplicate listings. One listing per item. If you need to update terms, edit the existing post.

Prohibited Content

The following will result in enforcement action, up to and including a permanent ban:

  • Bootlegs, recasts, and unauthorized reproductions — zero tolerance, permanent ban on first offense. If you are unsure whether an item is legitimate, do not list it.
  • Misleading condition claims — intentionally misrepresenting damage, repairs, or completeness.
  • Soliciting off-platform deals — directing members to transact outside CFS to avoid accountability.
  • Spam and unauthorized self-promotion — promotional content is only permitted in designated categories (Services). No unsolicited advertising elsewhere.

Trust Levels & Verification

CFS uses a progressive trust system. Privileges are earned through genuine community participation — not purchased, not rushed.

  • Trust Level 0 (New): Browse all public categories. Read, learn, get familiar with the community.
  • Trust Level 1 (Browser): Post in WTB, Intelligence, and Lounge. Earned by meeting minimum reading and engagement thresholds.
  • Trust Level 2 (Member): Post in WTS and Services. Requires a minimum account age of 15 days plus demonstrated community activity. This is the first line of defense against scam accounts — sellers must prove they are real community members before listing.
  • Staff and Moderators hold final authority on all disputes, permissions, and enforcement decisions.

Trust Level requirements exist to protect you. Honest collectors benefit from a community where quick-flip scam accounts cannot operate.

Scam Watch

Scam Watch is how CFS tracks and exposes bad actors. It is a serious tool — not a place for grudges.

  • All reports are submitted via the Scam Report wizard only. No free-form posts are permitted in Scam Watch — ever.
  • Staff review every report before publication. No report goes live without verification.
  • False or malicious reports are a bannable offense. If you fabricate evidence or file a report in bad faith, you will be permanently banned.
  • Reporter identity is protected. Notifications to reported members do not reveal who filed the report.

If your report is dismissed, you will be notified with the reason and may resubmit with additional evidence.

Enforcement

CFS enforces rules on a progressive basis:

  1. Warning — for first-time or minor violations.
  2. Suspension — for repeated violations or serious misconduct.
  3. Permanent ban — for egregious offenses (bootleg sales, fraud, malicious reports) or continued violations after suspension.

Exceptions: Bootleg/recast listings and confirmed fraud result in an immediate permanent ban with no warning stage.

  • Staff decisions are final. If you wish to appeal, send a direct message to a moderator. Do not create public threads to contest enforcement actions.
  • All transaction-related communication should remain on-platform. Off-platform conversations cannot be used as evidence in disputes.

A Note to New Members

If you are here because you are tired of getting burned on Facebook groups, Discord servers, or anonymous marketplaces — you are in the right place. CFS was built because this hobby deserves better than the “Wild West” that exists today.

We are a community of collectors who value trust, transparency, and mutual respect. Follow the rules, deal honestly, and you will find a trading environment worthy of the pieces we all care about.
